Senior Business Development Representative (Sr. BDR)

Opportunity 

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sr. Business Development Representative. The Sr. BDR will help grow Envoy’s pipeline by prospecting to source qualified meetings for Business Development Managers. You are an expert at highly personalized outbound tactics; cold calling, LinkedIn, email, and getting creative to spark conversations with prospects.  You are a hunter and hyper curious by nature.  You are a people person and you love to engage in conversations by letting your personality shine through. 

 

Your role is essential in growing our customer base and positioning our unique offerings with our next wave of clients. You will work with the Chief Growth Officer and the BD team to ensure prospect meetings happen. 

 

This is a hybrid position. We are looking for someone in Southern California who can split time between their home and the Irvine office. 

 

What You Will Do

  • Develop a strategic approach to achieve lead generation targets
  • Generate new leads and book meetings through direct outreach and building networks/relationships
  • Collaborate with BD team members on target accounts and contacts 
  • Maintain a pipeline of leads in Hubspot
  • Maintain client and executive prospect lists within targeted industries and companies

 

Qualities and Qualifications 

  • 7+ years outbound business development experience in B2B enterprise environment.  (preferably a digital agency/consultancy)
  • Innate passion for outreach, connecting with new people, having conversations that build rapport quickly 
  • Deep organizational skills and attention to detail when coordinating calendars and teeing up meetings with other team members
  • Well-versed and comfortable in selling strategy, design and technology services (E-commerce experience is a plus)
  • Well-versed and comfortable discussing strategy, design and technology services Ecommerce experience is a plus
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships based on mutual trust with clients and colleagues.
  • Track record of achieving lead generation targets 
  • Honest, transparent, and professional approach that fits our organizational culture.
  • Experience with modern prospecting tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Winmo, or other platforms
  • Great listener
  • Self-starter and action-oriented
  • Build lasting and trusting relationships

 

What We Offer 

The base salary range for this position is between $70,000 to $80,000, plus commissions and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
