Technical Producer

Summary:

As a Technical Producer at Envoy, you will oversee, manage and own the technical portion of projects internally. You will assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of processes, people, budgets, workflow and scopes associated with assigned projects, as it relates to the digital components of projects. This includes, working collaboratively with account management in all aspects of project oversight, owning budgets, schedules and milestones. You will report to the Production/Resource Director.

This position can be remote, but you will need to be working PT hours. The office is located in Irvine, CA. 

You Will:

  • Manage projects across various clients at any given time and be responsible for effectively communicating the current status of projects daily.
  • Create comprehensive project schedules and manage all technical milestones and deliverables associated with your assigned projects.
  • Manage schedules, budgets and variables to ensure that expectations are managed across the entire team.
  • Manage proactively to identify and solve problems.
  • Manage external technical partners where applicable, overseeing costs, timing and all reviews and deliverables.
  • Build technical connectivity between creative and tech during the creative process to ensure design is being executed based on all tech assumptions, feasibility and estimated effort.
  • Complete estimating and timelines for technical portions of assigned projects.
  • Manage milestones associated with every project to ensure that the work stays on schedule and on budget.
  • Maintain all living documentation/tools through the project lifecycle including schedules, resource and budget management tools.
  • Create and maintain JIRA instances and tickets for development projects.
  • Communicate production requirements and variables to the client as necessary.
  • Manage sprint planning, retrospective meetings, beta management and deployment management.
  • Lead CMS documentation (with tech support) and CMS training.
  • Work with tech team to determine project stack needs definition/checklist.

You Have/Can:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience within an agency environment.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Be incredibly detail oriented.
  • Experience working directly with creative team members and development engineers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience working in digital marketing and media.
  • Understand project management of web and mobile technologies.
  • Technical knowledge of various systems (Android, iOS, HTTP, Web Services).
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and clients at once.
  • Experience working with JIRA.
  • Knowledge of agile scrum methodology.
